Our Commitment
At Charity’s Readers For Tomorrow, we believe meaningful books should be within reach of every child.
We are building a literacy nonprofit focused on expanding access to positive, inclusive, and inspiring books for children and schools. Through fundraising, community partnerships, and growing literacy initiatives, our goal is to help place meaningful stories into the hands of young readers who may otherwise have limited access to them.
Because access to the right book can open a conversation, build confidence, and help a child see possibility in themselves and others.

Your generosity puts books directly into the hands of children who need them most.
Together, we can make sure no child is left behind when it comes to the gift of reading.

Charity’s Readers for Tomorrow welcomes volunteers, sponsors, and partners to join us in our mission to promote literacy for all children. Your involvement can make a significant difference in shaping a better future through the gift of reading.

We believe every child deserves the joy of a book to call their own. Through community support and book donations, we’re putting stories into the hands of children who need them most.
Your Gift Helps Build Access to Books
Your generosity helps Charity’s Readers For Tomorrow build the funding and partnerships needed to expand access to meaningful books and literacy experiences for children and schools.
Every donation supports our growing mission and moves us closer to placing positive, inclusive, and inspiring stories into the hands of young readers

Request Books for Your School or Organization
We are working to expand access to meaningful books for children and schools with limited resources.
Educators, schools, and community organizations are invited to share their literacy needs with Charity’s Readers For Tomorrow. Book support is based on available funding, partnerships, and resources as our nonprofit continues to grow.
Submitting a request does not guarantee book support, but it helps us better understand where the need exists and guides our future fundraising and literacy initiatives.
Built From a Life of Knowing What It Means to Be Overlooked
Meet Charity Harris
Charity’s Readers For Tomorrow was founded by Charity Harris, known to young readers as award-winning children’s author C.M. Harris.
Living with a lifelong disability and as a wheelchair user, Charity understands what it means to be overlooked, underestimated, or left out of the story. After more than a decade working directly with children—and years spent writing, publishing, and visiting schools—she saw both the power of meaningful children’s literature and the barriers that can keep books from reaching the children and classrooms that need them.
Charity’s Readers For Tomorrow was created to help change that.
Because a book cannot make a difference if it never reaches a child’s hands.
